Obituary for Wesley Hugh Hughston

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Wes Hughston, age 88, of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. He is survived by his five children, James (Elaine), Laura, Elizabeth (Alan), Gwen (Mike), and Marjory. He also leaves to mourn five grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Thomas, Steven and Christopher; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Beau; and brother, Lyle of Vegreville. He was predeceased by his ex-wife and friend, Jean; parents, James and Ada; sister, Opal; two brothers, Edward and Calvin, and son-in-law, Don. Also left to mourn are his close friends, Gert, Cliff and Joe of Sherwood Manor.
Special thanks to Kathy and the staff of Unit 22 of the Leduc Community Hospital who showed exceptional care and compassion to our dad and family.
As per Wes’ request, there will be no funeral service.
