Condolences

Condolence From: Mike Bateman
Condolence: My condolences to Wayne and family. I’ve just learned of her passing and sorry I missed the service. Sharon was one of my and my father Bob’s favorites in the grocery business. I learned from her and she was always good to me. A great lady. Rest In Peace.

Condolence From: Edward & Ellen Chychul
Condolence: Wayne: Our deepest condolences go out to you at this time when all our hearts are heavy and filled with sadness.
Sharon had a way of emulating genuine friendship and we always looked forward to our lunches together on her way through town. Those visits were filled with stories and laughter and they always ended too quickly. She made it very clear she didn’t want to go to any of those fancy restaurants that served things like raw fish, but we could never go wrong with an A&W burger. It was always mutually beneficial if Ed and Sharon sat next to each other at holiday dinners so Sharon could discretely transfer that “fancy” food onto Ed’s plate.
Sharon always reassured us that you looked after everything on the home front extremely well while she was on the road looking after “her stores”. She knew how to blend business with friendship and it was an honour to know and work with her. We will miss her terribly.
Dance your way to the stars, sweet lady… until we meet again.
Edward & Ellen Chychul

Condolence From: Helen Young
Condolence: Sincere condolences to Wayne and family. Sharon was a wonderful, thoughtful and caring person. I remember one day she was in Chetwynd and we were going for lunch when she surprised me and dug into her bag of goodies in the car and came up with some cat treats for the strays. Needless to say the cats were eating better than we were and she stayed there to make sure they shared. I loved our lunches for you never knew what she would say or do.

Condolence From: Jean and Albert Lemire
Condolence: Wayne , Albert and I were so saddened to hear of Sharon’s passing. She was our DM for many years in Falher and we retired about the same time. We appreciated her straight forward, no nonsense manner when it came to helping us better our business. What I missed most though were the phone calls she’d make on her long drive home. They may have started as follow ups to a business issue but then we’d chat on and on about anything and everything. She was a fabulous lady and will be greatly missed.

Condolence From: Debbie Fournier (nee Bartkowski)
Condolence: Dear Wayne, Auntie Julie, Linda, Jo, and family, there are no words that are deep enough to express my condolences to you. Like all of you Sharon has always held a special place in my heart going back 60 years. While many memories as families together, some special ones of Sharon including that she was the first babysitter my parents trusted with me. One special memory of one of those babysitting times was that she taught me the Jive! Her beautiful gentle personality will long live on in the memories she has let us all. My God hold you all in his loving hands at this very sad time. How she must be rejoicing to see her Dad, and especially Kimmy once again. All my love and prayers to you, Debbie and family.
