On October 17, 2018, Donna Pyzyk, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at 92 years of age.
Donna leaves to mourn her loss: three children, Irene Keogh, Myron (Irene) and Taras (Mila); four grandchildren, Alana Hull (John), Mark Pyzyk, Nadine Matheson (Andrew) and Andrew Pyzyk; five great-grandchildren, Carter Hull, Talia Hull, Tenley Hull, Jaxon Matheson and Will Matheson. Predeceased by her husband, Stephan; parents, Pavlo and Anna Zyszczuk; siblings, Valentyna and Volodymyr; and son-in-law, Gerald Keogh.
The family wishes to thank the medical staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital Geriatric Unit 53 and the Edmonton General Hospital Palliative Care Unit 9Y for their compassionate care of our mother in the final weeks of her life.
Divine Liturgy Wednesday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street with Cathedral Clergy officiating. Cremation and inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral – Preservation Fund, 10825 – 97 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5H 2M4.
