Obituary for Shirley Ann Enevoldsen

Print
With great sadness, the family announces the unexpected passing of Shirley Ann Enevoldsen of Fox Creek, AB, on February 7, 2019, at the age of 69 years.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Harvey; daughters, Theresa (Trevor) Juuti, Tania (Steve) Hodges, Teryl (Craig Kwiatkowski) Enevoldsen; grandchildren, Madison and Mason; sister, Dorothy; and many more dear relatives, friends and “the girls” at the Foxwood. Predeceased by her sister, Marge; and an infant brother.
Shirley was born March 11, 1949, in Melita, MB, to George and Marian Robson.
Shirley and husband, Harvey moved to Fox Creek in 1975 to work in motel management; Shirley was a staple in the motel industry for over 40 years. Shirley worked at the Plainsman Motor Inn, Regal Inn, and more recently, the Foxwood Inn & Suites.
Shirley loved her grandchildren, spending many hours baking with her granddaughter, and watching her grandson play hockey. She treasured her dog, Casey, and her many grand-dogs. She loved to cook and have family gatherings. Shirley also loved spending time in her garden and caring for her flowers.
A Private Service will be held followed by interment in Fox Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of other tributes, and in honouring Shirley’s more than fifty blood donations, contributions to the Canadian Blood Services, 8249 – 114 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2R8, would be appreciated.
