This is what you need to know about this Park Memorial event series

Park Memorial is committed to supporting the grief journey for all families in our communities. In Mayerthorpe, we partner with Crossroads Community Church, to offer GriefShare – a faith-based, weekly non-denominational grief support program. GriefShare offers help, information, resources and encouragement following the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. Whether your loss is recent or from years ago, you are welcome to attend GriefShare. You do not have to journey through your grief alone.

Schedules and Activities

The next GriefShare support group starts Tuesday, February 4, 2025 (you may register and begin attending GriefShare at any time throughout the 12-week series). The group meets each Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Crossroads Community Church, 4719 – 44 Avenue, in Mayerthorpe. Each session includes a video seminar on topics related to grief recovery, small group discussion, and time for fellowship and refreshments. $35 for the twelve-week group includes all materials plus your personal GriefShare journal. Enrolment is limited and pre-registration is required. GriefShare is offered in partnership with Park Memorial Funeral Home and Crossroads Community Church and is co-facilitated by Reverend Ruth Lotholz and Park Memorial Funeral Director, Fran Marion.
